Which do you prefer: Health or uber-convenience? Natural expiration and meal preparation or cancers and other long-term, serious health problems?
Become a label reading extraordinaire and be confident about what you feed yourself and your children. Disturbing numbers of so-called “foods” contain chemicals that damage bodies and minds. Ask questions like 1) who profits from the decision I’m making? 2) how do I know who truly profits? 3) what is my child eating when away from home, perhaps at daycare or school? Doing so may prevent disease now or 15-25 years down the road for her or him. Isn’t that worth educating yourself? We get one chance to do this life thing and to show our children the world. Let’s keep it real. I’ll help.

I am a mom, spouse, teacher, coordinator and grad student with a high interest in being well. Nothing is more important to me than keeping my family safe and healthy. Nothing. I spill (spew) about pluses and minuses I deem worthy for all of us here. You can find me having fun with my daughter, spouse and wheaten terror terrier.
