Thank You for Contacting Us!

Hi Joseph,

Thank you for visiting http://www.nabiscoworld.com and I’m sorry you’re disappointed in your purchase of TRISCUIT Fire Roasted Tomato & Olive Oil Crackers.

I can assure you that we only use the artificial colors that are on the GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) List. We abide by FDA regulations for artificial colors.

Also, the following FDA Certified artificial food colors MUST be declared in the ingredient line on the package:

Red #40 Blue #1 Yellow #5 (Tartrazine) Blue #2 Yellow #6

Red #3

The colorings listed above can not be declared in the ingredient line as "artificial coloring".

Yellow #5 and Yellow #6 are derived from non-animal sources.

If we use something to color a food product, other than an FDA Certified artificial color, (such as beet juice), that too must be declared in the ingredient line indicating its presence in the product and that it is being used for coloring.

If you haven’t done so already, please add our site to your favorites and visit us again soon!

I read where I am consuming Red dye 46, Yellow#5 and Blue #1. Why destroy a product by putting poison in your nutricious product? Do you put these artificial dyes in all of your Triscuits?

And watch out for those aluminum & teflon cookware. Aluminum is a very soft metal and it DOES end up in the food you cook or bake in it. ESP if that food is anywhere on the acidic side. Teflon has toxic fluoride compounds in it which have been proven to not only come off into your food, but also to vaporize into the air you breath should you ever over-heat the pan or burn something in it! If there were a canary or small bird in your house when this happened it would likely kill him! Studies have shown that a large majority of the population has teflon in their blood! And have linked this to several serious illnesses, diseases & immune system dysfunctions. It is most wise to get good quality ceramic/glass fired on cast iron, also know as enameled cast iron. Beware of cheap imitations which use a cheap epoxy resin (plastic) instead of actual porcelain or glass fired-on enamel. Glass cookware like corning or pyrex is also a very good choice.

Bri: Fresh Alaskan trout sounds amazing, how simple too. I hope you like the salmon, BBQ style, it’s a perfect “no prep” dinner – we just had it again on Sunday. Trader Joe’s BBQ sauce it was! Bon appetite :)

We have some wild salmon in our freezer that Ryan's uncle caught in Alaska! I think you just inspired some BBQ Salmon tonight. We've had the alaskan caught trout last night with fresh parm, parsley, & garlic, so easy and delicious. Dylan practically eats a whole fish by himself. Thanks for all the great info!

Thanks for the great recommendation, Lori. I missed the Trader Joe’s cotton deodorant boat, they stopped making it as soon as I discovered it. :( I’ve been looking for an aluminum-free deodorant stone, and this sounds like one I shouldn’t miss. My current saving grace has been Tom’s 24-hour “mountain spring” deodorant.
